2. How come the site isn't loading properly?

   CoasterForum runs best on the newest version of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
   

3. How come I can't register?

   This has happened to a few users. The only known fix to this issue would be to try a different email provider. Try using a different email provider such as as Yahoo, etc.

4. How do I start a new topic?

   Start by choosing what category best fits your new topic. Then click the board you would like to post in. On the top right, click the "New Topic" button. Add your post and click "Submit".

5. How do I add a picture to a post?

   Along the top of the post main text box are a vast amount of buttons. One of these has a blue square in it. Click on this box and a window appears. In the space provided, paste the URL of the image. NOT the [IMG] code.

6. How come I cannot edit my post?

   There is a 10 minute time limit after posting which enables you to edit your post. After the 10 minutes, you can no longer edit your post. At this point you will need to contact a site Moderator.

7. How do I post a video to the "Videos" section?

   Simply go to the videos section, click "Add Video". From there you can choose how you would like to upload your video. Next, fill in the video details, click what category your video best fits in, and hit "Submit"
   

NoLimits FAQ

1. How do I take a screenshot of an No Limits Coaster?

   Press 'K' whilst in the simulator.
   
   Vista Users: Click the tab on the tool bar which says: 'Compatability Files' to view the images in your screenshots folder.
   

2. How do I record in the No Limits simulator?

   Press "0" on the keypad; not on the numbers along the top of the keyboard, but on the numbers on the right hand side. To make the video even better, press "F1" to remove the coasters', stats if you do not want them visible. On some laptops, there is no key pad. You can go into the simulator settings to change which key starts the recording.
   (The default FPS (Frames Per Second) for recording is only 15, go to Setup > Other > AVI Frame Rate and chose the FPS you wish to record in).
   
   Vista Users: You have to create a folder outside of the NL 1.6 Folder to export the video files to because otherwise they will not show up. We recomend making a folder in your 'My Videos' folder for your NL videos. To set the folder for the videos to be saved to, go to: HDD:C > Program Files > NoLimits 1.6/1.7 > Advanced AVI Setup

3. How do I make smooth tracks in No Limits?

   Everyone has different building techniques. Your technique develops over time, however, it is easier to smooth tracks if you have shorter segments. Having shorter segments also makes it much easier to bank and heartline. We suggest segments should be no longer than 20 - 30ft.

4. How do I create wooden supports quickly?

   In the No Limits editor, go to the Supports tab and select 'auto supports' which is at the bottom of the drop down menu. Play around with the settings until you get what you want and know what everything does.

RCT3 FAQ

1. How do I take a screenshot in RCT3?

   Press the 'F10' key along the top of your keyboard.

2. Where do I find my screenshots?

   All your screenshots can be found in My Documents > My Pictures > RCT3.

3. How do I remove the RCT3 interface/icons from the screen?

   Click on a 'peep' and rename them 'David Walsh'. When you have done that, you can press 'CTRL' and 'U' to remove the interface.

4. How do I record a video?

   To record a video you need to press CTRL + SHIFT + F11. Doing this starts the recording. To stop recording, press the same keys again. You will know if it is recording because the FPS becomes very low.

5. Where do I find my videos?

   All your recorded videos can be found in My Documents > My Videos > RCT3.

6. How do I build Rides and Roller Coasters higher than the maximium height set by the game?

   To remove the max height, select a 'peep' and rename them 'John Wardley'.

7. How do I open the 'Flying Camera'?

   Rename a 'peep': 'D Lean', and the video recorder will show up.

8. Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Cheats

   - Atari = All guests laugh.
   - Chris Sawyer = Guests jump for joy.
   - John Wardley = Removes height restrictions when building coasters.
