Project LC2012..   the image carries the slogan "The End Is Coming" with a nuclear explosion in the background hinting at a possible theme for the ride.

No other details are available, but when they are, i will release them here!

Wow!  Looks cool!  But I get why it's called LC12.  I have absolutley no idea what LC stands for, but 12 probably means 2012.

^It's only artwork, so I doubt it'll be located near Stealth (but I could be wrong). Besides, Stealth could have just been depicted so people will know that Thorpe Park is adding a new ride.

That's what Thorpe Park is planning to build. With rotating wingrider cars.

It's kinda disturbing that they would build a coaster based off the 2012 theory's.  Scientists so thrilled for the for the world to end, there always trying to predict it, and now they want to build a coaster about it? haha.

The first of Thorpe Park's planned rollercoasters is planned to be the tallest, reaching a maximum height of up to 50 metres (164 feet). This is 12.5 metres shorter than the park's current tallest coaster, Stealth. The park plans to situate the coaster close to Stealth, on a currently unused island. Sections of the coaster will extend out over the park's lake, with up to 30 support columns set to jut out from the water.

he new coaster will be slightly less tall than nearby Stealth.

Thorpe Park's plans include early designs for the new coaster, which appear to show a massive first drop followed by a series of high-speed twists and turns. The design includes a heartline roll just after the lifthill, which would see riders starting the first drop in an upside-down position before roaring down into an upright position for the ensuing turns. The ride will have a maximum length of 850 metres, and no more than 9 vertical loops - although it's not clear from the current drawings whether any inversions other than the heartline roll will be included.

Hmmmm....... they waant us to enjoy death......

^And DJ, that's awesome!  Where did you get those plans and that info?

Not a damn 2012 coaster, come on! A nuclear themed coaster wouldn't be bad, but 2012, really?!

this is the real thing now guys but the pics are yet to come i will relese the pics soon

Today in an exciting development, Runnymede Council have uploaded the plans submitted by Thorpe Park regarding the new attraction LC12, the parks new rollercoaster scheduled to open in 2012.

From the plans we can now confirm the ride will be a B&M Wing Rider model, similar to one currently under construction at sister park Gardaland, although we can still not confirm rumors as to if the seats will spin or not to add the "4D effect".

The ride will stand at an impressive 126 feet making it making it the 2nd tallest ride on park. From the plans we can see the ride will carry an "apocalyptic" theme where riders "Fly" through a crash scene and experience the full size replica themeing. In keeping with this theme the track will be painted a grey color with the supports being greeny-grey in color.

Being one of the first areas with new development for a reasonable period of time the area also has a series of ancillary buildings including themed toilets, retail outlets and a food and beverage unit. Due to the rides location a new bridge will also be constructed joining "Island C" with the rest of the park.
