A quick note, I promise I will actually finish this park and update you guys every few weeks. The plans are a very crude, and are not shown as correctly scaled down. Its very basic, and meant to give you an idea of the major rides in the park and park layout. Also, anyone know where I can find the Mondial Windseeker CFR?

Anyways, onto the 'story' and 'plans'

Hello Future Visitors of Nantahala National Park, my name is Brandon Barker, President and CEO of Nature Theme Parks National and GM of Nantahala National Park!

This brand new Nantahala National Park, a complete, multi-year revamp of old family friendly park, will delight thrill seekers of every age and appeal to everyone, including the visitors who remember the park before it briefly closed for its big revamp!

Below is a rough, basic drawing of the plans for the park. You'll notice that there are only a few attractions, mostly the major ones, are depicted. Rest assured, they aren't the only ones you'll be enjoying! You'll definitely find a few pleasant surprises at the park!

As the rides are labeled by numbers mostly, here is the list for the attractions by lands:

Forests of North America

#1 Legend of the Wolf. Located at the southwestern corner of the park, this launched roller coaster, manufactured by Intamin, is sure to rocket to the top spots of every coaster enthusiasts' lists of must rides, and favorite rides, with a top speed of 60mph, five airtime hills, three overbanked hills, high speed turns at 90 degrees, and two inversions!

Eagle's Nest (unnumbered circle): The tallest attraction at the park, this thrilling drop ride will take you to heights of 200ft and more. Slowly rising up the giant tower, riders will have a great view of the surrounding area on a bright sunny day. But don't think you'll have a nice relaxing journey on the way down! Located just across from Legend of the Wolf.

#3 Wendigo. The tallest coaster in the park, this 140ft tall B&M inverted roller coaster will send you screaming through six inversions, overbanked turns and huge airtime hills. A turn beast of a coaster that will surely make its riders legends themselves! Located in the northwestern corner of the park.

#4 Little Loggers: A small coaster for the thrill seekers in training. Located nearby Mystery Attraction #5 and Eagle's Nest.

#5 Mystery Attraction #5. A small launched coaster by Gerstlauer, you'll find yourselves blazing through the caves and forests at the foothills of _______ Mountain! Name and layout will be announced later in the year!

Ranger: A last minute decision, the park's custom Schwarzkopf roller coaster will continue to delight guests of all ages.

Pirate Oasis

#2 Swashbuckler. Located in the southeastern corner of the park, this new B&M Wingrider style roller coaster brings a new dimension of thrills to the park. As the flagship attraction of the new Pirate Oasis land, this one hundred foot tall attraction will send riders over hills, two inversions, and high speed turns.

The Harbor

#6 Mystery Attraction #6. A GCI wooden coaster whose design we have yet to settle on (but we're nearly there!) Might even be a dueling coaster!

#7 Cannonfall. A family friendly spinning coaster from Gerstlauer, guests of all ages will certainly test your mettle...and stomach!

Well, that's it for now. See you all soon!

Ok so over the spring break I didn't work on the park as much as I'd like to since I was with my dad most of the time working to get some money, minus the actual working, so I could go up to North Cal and spend a few days visiting my cousin's campus until Sunday, when I came back and actually managed to work on the park.

The GCI's design is mostly done, from the station fly through to the brakes and up the lift hill. There's a massive space between Swashbuckler and the GCI, so I'm filling it in with the lake/harbor and the actual Mystery Attraction #6, which will actually consist of a shooting dark ride and a launched Maurer Sohne X-Car coaster, one of the newer designs recently released.

The shooting dark ride will be completely enclosed in one of the park's two forts/castles. The castle itself will serve three purposes

1. The dividing landmark between the Pirate Oasis and The Harbor lands

2. The southeastern portion of it will house the X-Car's station, maintence bay, and dark ride portion.

3. Again, as the completely enclosed area for the shooting dark ride (outside of the southeastern wing)

The other castle will be Swashbuckler's station.

The story between the two was that both were built to protect against pirates. However, one night, the pirates gained control of one of the forts, and in a act of defiance and showcase of power, built the menacing Swashbuckler. Neither side, though, could gain control of the other castle.

This will serve as the theme for both the shooting dark ride and the new coaster. In the shooting dark ride, you are one of the guards who ventures deep into the underground caverns to repel the invading pirates, who have discovered the secret entrance into the castle.

On the X-Car, you will be one of many prisoners attempting to make an escape when the prison comes under attack by pirates. You and your fellow prisoners will weave in and around the guard towers, subsequently dodging and destroying them as your fellow pirates capture the castle.

Without further ado, here is a shot of the coaster's layout (which will probably use the Premier/Schwarzknopf track)

Hope you guys can see it.

Also, Eagle's nest has been moved over to the Pirate Oasis area and been renamed The Crow's Nest

The blueprints look good, hopefully you can stick to them though. Whenever I make blueprints like these if I'm bored in class or something, I can never really stick to them, thanks to RCT3 being so damn limited...

^Exactly. Unfortunately I couldn't stick to Prisoner Escape's original layout, so its become more of a compact Cheetah Hunt (to make something of a visual reference) mixed in with the first half of the original prisoner escape layout.

Coasterwise I'm all done, just need to add the water ride, flats, then I'll finally work on scenery. Then yall will have official photos.

How about a shot of one of the park's three entrances? Dubbed simply as "Tropical Entrance", it's located near Swashbuckler and the park's small waterpark, and is the southeastern entrance at the park.

The entrance looks nice, and so do the parking lot spaces(That I can see)
I like those bushes you have there, along with those roof pieces sticking up. I always like when people use the bamboo set in RCT3.

So here's a few work in progress shots on the new, triple launched coaster Rum Runner. Originally, Legend of the Wolf was going to be a launched coaster, but that has since been changed to a nice GCI woodie.

Do you guys think I should go with a different theme for the station?

The coaster looks nice, but I would suggest re-doing the queue to make it more realistic.

The ingame que is only temporary. I just wanted to give you guys a shot of the inside of the station so I might get some opinions on whether or not I should change it :). I'm only using the ingame que right now to give myself an outline of the que line I'll be using, where to put the theming around it, etc.

I spy with my little eye some theming in progress for Rum Runner in before and after shot form!

Before:

After:

The ride will interact with the queline quite a bit, so the line itself will be heavily themed while the ride itself will feature some grottos like this and weave in and out of a tropical forest, in an effort to hide the ride's layout without using too much rockwork. The wood bridge will be one of a few points where guests can view the ride and take photos.

I would suggest using the smaller supports, those fat ones look kind of ugly no offence.

^I actually prefer them to the smaller supports :/

But anyway, today's update shows just two of the park's family friendly rides, an unnamed shooting dark ride themed to a time traveling pirate, and an unthemed spinning coaster named Cannonfall.

Here's a shot of Cannonfall:

And the shooting dark ride (although their isn't much to see yet, so its sort of a before pic for a later update)
