I can't get enough airtime, as you know xD My favorite coaster is El Toro, which has -1.5 G's, which I think is just a perfect amount of G's to make my wet my pants with joy

What I like the most is inversions mixed with airtime. For example Stormrunner which has a good airtime I suppose on its top hat and inversions too. Same with Anubis The Ride. But if I had to choose, I'd say I like rather airtimes than inversions, because inversions don't seem to make special sensations to me.

Yeah I like both. Cedar Point has a good variety of both, and I have enjoyed both inversions and airtime.

I prefer a good mix of both. Given that you can't do much outside of camelback hills for coasters that exceed 200ft or 80mph (except for dive coasters and Alpengeist) having a coaster with maybe two or three camelback hills and four or five inversions to me makes the ride stand out more because it has a more unique layout than your typical six or seven multi-inversion roller coasters. That's really what makes a ride memorable, what it does differently from everything else. From my own experiences, Colossus backwards makes the ride that much better, even for an older wooden racing coaster. Apocolypse is still pretty good, but the audio on the pre-drop was pretty awesome. And X2....well, its X2. No need to explain it :). The Tower of Terror (I've ridden the Disneyland version only) is definitely one of the better drop towers (well, I consider them all to be drop towers, even though each ride at each of the parks is different before the actual drops) because it's enclosed and even when you know the drop is coming, it still startles you. Or in my case, it makes me laugh hysterically as I listen to the other riders' startled screams while getting more airtime on it than on any other ride. Soarin'. If you haven't ridden any of its versions, you're truly missing out on the best dark ride experience ever. X2 may be my favorite coaster, but Soarin Over California quickly stole Indiana Jones' (Disneyland version) place on my favorite dark ride list. But, anyway, there's my two cents on the subject....

It's a compact of both. I've been on Afterburn and personally, I can take a good pack of inversions in a short amount of time. But I love Airtime also. Sadly, airtime seems to be not a "punch packer" on coasters. Unless it's a woodie or a B&M Hyper. I haven't seem much coasters besides those two types of coasters with airtime. But of course the B&M Inverts and Dive machines has a bit of airtime (mainly 1 part of the ride). But the Euro-fighters also give airtime (SAW: The Ride's Immelmann gives a good ammount of floater airtime & the hill it has). Overall I like a good sensation of both. A ride with just inversions seems to be to bland for me, but a ride with just a 'hill after hill' seems to bland also. Stormrunner seems to be a good example of a mix of inversions and airtime.

I haven't said anything concerning both. I enjoy both. But I really like downforce the most. Airtime just pulls everything that's inside of you, up your throat. Inversions, make you dizzy. Downforce, however, makes you feel like you're heavier than the world. Downforce is found at the bottom of drops and inversions, so I suppose it does link into inversions. It's a really great feeling, especially on a hyper or an invert of great height (Goliath, Batman). If I were given only the decision to choose either Inversions or Airtime, I would certainly pick Airtime. Feeling heavy and weightless are two forces that no one intended from the far pasts, to be contained in today's thrill rides.
