Hello everyone. I'm Kenny Dubrowski, Sallian Landing's photographer. I will take pictures of new construction progress and I will come here twice a year when the park is opened to the public. I'm lucky because I can come here whenever I want as long as someone is here at the park as well.

I'll give you the history of Sallian Landing. In 1967 Cedar Fair signed a contract to build a new amusement park. It wasn't until 3 weeks ago did they start building Sallian Landing. Sallian Landing was not officially named until yesterday. Some staff have been hired for now and for later when the park opens. My camera is not the best, but enjoy the pictures I have taken!

The parking lot.

The park entrance.

The Information center. The workers are in here because today is a training day.

Here you can get your food but you have to go outside to eat. The workers are training here too.

A view of the entrance and the entrance way.

That's all I got. If you think something needs to be fixed or you have ideas, tell me as a reply and I will tell the design team.

It all looks great so far, and nice storyline. I wish I could build nice parking lots, it seems like everyone can, except for me. I can't really say more until I see more. :D
And nice park entrance by the way.

Hello everyone. Kenny Dubrowski here! I recently went to the camera store and bought a more high quality lens so the pictures will be a lot better now!

I came here a while ago and I noticed a coaster being built already. It's a woodie called Widow. It is 70ft tall. It should be a fun ride for the family. Well, enjoy my better camera quality!

The new area that has been built.

Here's a place to eat.

Here are the chairs and part of Widow in the backround.

The station is completed.

Here's how much has been done.

Wow! They are working fast on this park. They should totally have this opened for Spring Break next year. If you have ideas or helpful tips, tell me and I'll tell the design team. Until next update!

May I suggest doing cross ties on the wooden supports.  I'm really liking this so far.

Oh well sorry. Remember it's 1968 and wooden supports weren't detailed very much. Maybe you should tell me how to improve instead of just saying that something looks bad. Your as worse as R4nd0m10.

^I think they look alright, but still flimsy. Perhaps do as deathfearsnone said and add some cross-ties. :)

I think given the time it looks fine.  I sort of like the flimsy look he's going for for the early rides...very interesting.

Well it's August 5th and Widow is finished. The trees will be planted in later. Widow is a wooden coaster made for the family and will be the only coaster opened in the 1969 season. Opening day for the 1969 season is March 13th. I wonder if the workers can finish there plans because who wants to build a ride when it's below freezing. I've taken only pictures of Widow because that's all that's been worked on for the past 4 months. Enjoy the pictures!

In order to keep people safe, they put in a tunnel on the first drop so no one would be hurt by a beam above them.

Those supports look amazing!

In this picture you can see 2 of the 3 crossovers.

The workers let me walk on the catwalks to take some awesome pictures!

I took this from the first turnaround.

Here's the brake run at the end.

I told the design team about the supports and they fixed it! I hope you enjoyed these pictures, hopefully we can get this done before December comes.

~ Kenny (I'm going to start doing that now)

We're almost done, only one more area to complete and then planting trees. We hired another construction team so now we can work on two things at once. They just finished a new area made for the kids. It has a Swirly Slide, a Carousel and a shop with ice cream, candy, and other sweet treats. I took some pictures, so enjoy!

The new are that was built.

I like the cover over the Carousel, this ride will be nice and cool.

Here is the Swirly Slide, this is a nice attraction but I can it see it being taken down in a decade or so due to all the teenagers who try to be funny and act all crazy on these things. :(

I love the detail on this building, I'm gonna call this the Sweet Shop.

Here's another view of the Sweet Shop, I know the kids will love eating here.

I'm only gonna come back here one more time until opening day. Tell me some ideas and suggestions and I'll tell the design team. Until next time!

~ Kenny

Very nice presentation of your park! That woodie looks really good, but... Wouldn't it look better if you used another type of train ? Don't think Intamin was already making those trains at that time ?

Do you like Rock'N'Roll ? I do, and you should too.
