Hey guys I am finally back from Orlando for a week and I am hoping to boost activity on the site by posting a description and a review of my trip.

I went with the school's marching band to play at the parade at Universal and to play during the halftime show at the Champs bowl in Orlando.  While we did those two things, we also went to Universal for two days and Epcot (WDW) for one day.  We were lucky because our hotel was right across the street from Universal and we got a room on the 8th floor so we could see the whole park right out our window.

First we had the parade at Universal.  That was fun walking around the park and playing for about 20 minutes.  The next day we went to Universal for the first day.  We had two-day tickets for both parks so we could walk back and forth as we pleased.  I didn't do much the first day because it was so crowded, only go on a couple rides such as the Mummy.  The next day we went to the bowl game so we didn't go to any parks.  After that we went to Universal again.  This is when I rode everything that I wanted to.  The lines were still bad, but I ride Rip Ride Rockit twice, the Hulk once, Harry Potter castle ride once, Dragon Challenge (formerly Dueling Dragons) once on the blue side, some various motion simulator rides, and Jaws once.  I want to say a special shout out to Jaws because it is closing very soon now.  Also I talked to one of the workers and they told me that Transformers was going to be the next ride.

Finally the last day we went to Epcot.  This was New Years Eve and we went to Epcot because it had the best fireworks display around the lake.  Sadly there weren't that many good rides and the ones that were good (Test Track, Mission Space) had insane line times up to 4 hours!  So we got the Fastpass and rode them later on.  At the end of the day we saw the fireworks and the laser show and it was simply amazing.  Everything was synched perfectly despite them not counting down.  I had no idea it was 2012 for a few minutes.
